Holi is one of the warmest days in the college year. Lessons give way to a courtyard laid out with trays of colour, the veranda is strung with balloons and bunting, and staff, students and families spend the morning greeting one another.
Colours in the courtyard
The colour table is set up outside the main block, with yellow, red, pink and green gulal laid out in trays alongside garlands and sweets for anyone who comes past.

Greetings in the office
Inside, the day is marked more formally. Gifts are exchanged between the Manager, the Principal and the teaching staff — by which point nobody’s clothes have escaped the colour.

The Holi Milan
The celebration closes with a Holi Milan gathering, where staff and their families come together and gifts are distributed to everyone who works at the college.
