World TB Day Awareness Programme

The college marked World TB Day with an awareness programme built around the campaign theme “हाँ! हम टीबी को समाप्त कर सकते हैं” — “Yes! We can end TB”. Guests from the Department of Community Medicine at AIIMS Raebareli, led by Dr. Bhola Nath, Professor and Head of Department, joined staff from the district health department.

Students gathered in front of the office block to hear how tuberculosis spreads, which symptoms should prompt a test — a cough lasting more than two weeks, fever, weight loss, tiredness — and where testing and treatment can be had free of charge. Students who answered questions during the session were given prizes, and the visiting doctors were presented with mementoes before they left.
