Science Day at Karpoori Thakur Inter College runs under the banner Explore, Innovate, Discover. Students across the classes build their own models and charts, set them out along the corridor, and take turns explaining the science behind each one to teachers and to each other.

The biology tables drew the biggest crowd — a labelled human skeleton, a model of the lungs, and a hand-painted chart of the heart and circulation, all built from card, thermocol and paint. Junior classes added teaching charts of their own, from shapes to vowels and consonants, alongside a poster on saving water and cutting pollution made for Earth Day.
